The hire in light of the current civilities which are sparse and outdated , foursquare footage and lack of 24 concierge get in high. The gym is small, outdated with sparse equipment.One of a few civilities was a business center but they eliminated it. I reported theft of hubcaps but they never put a community notice and their cameras are and then outdated and ill positioned the theft was not visible. There are only 2 elevators for 32 floors and one is often out of service for furniture moving so waiting for an elevator tin be a problem. On the positive side, expert location net to river. Management is responsive

Experience Was Very Skilful Until Noise Became A Huge Trouble
I've lived at Windsor on the Lake for 3 years and will update this review as necessary. Overall I've been fairly happy with this building despite some of the negative bug I study below, though less so over time. The primary reason why I am only providing 3 stars for the Overall Rating is management's unwillingness to take activeness in response to recurring racket complaints (run across beneath). PROS: - Location is phenomenal. Across the street from Lady Bird Lake and the hike and bike trail. Short walk to the Rainey St. confined but far enough away that yous don't hear them. Easy walk into the eye of downtown or beyond to East Austin. Quick access to I-35. - Apartments are mod and well equipped. - Friendly and attentive staff. Maintenance requests are handled very quickly - by the next day in all my experiences. - Fantastic views of downtown and the lake from many units on the higher floors. - Edifice is extremely clean. - Residents are a skilful mix of age groups, certainly compared to about other big complexes downtown. CONS: - Dog barking has been a noisy disturbance for a while now. I brought this to the attending of the management multiple times but their response has been underwhelming and it persists. At this point, I would advise anyone who intends to do any amount of work from dwelling against living here. - Proposed rent increases can be very steep (as high as x%), which made me seriously consider living elsewhere. - Garage is very vertical with tight turns and small spaces. - Traffic getting in and out of Rainey St. can be bad in the evenings and on weekends. Few alternative routes when traffic is bad. - No company parking, and non easy for visitors to observe parking nearby.

Fantabulous Experience
Well...permit'south see...where do I start!? How nearly with an exceptionally well managed and maintained building (shout out to Brooke, Mari, Mike, and Mark), amazing location with views, views, views (east.chiliad., River, Travis Heights, City), limited number of varied layout apartments on each floor (no Uber needed to get to your apartment down the hall), great amenities, Hike-Bike Trail correct outside your door, placidity, residential, neighborhood experience on this end of Rainey...and just ane block down... It'S RAINEY ST!!! Need I say more? Oh yep...one more thing...how 'bout an bodily example of the outstanding services at Windsor On The Lake: Scene 1: Memorial 24-hour interval, outside temp triple digits, A/C not cooling, upwards to 81 degrees in the apt; Scene 2: Left VM re maintenance problem (remember information technology's MEMORIAL DAY!); Scene three: About 15 minutes later, a knock at the door....it's Mike the Maintenance Supervisor (did I mention it'due south MEMORIAL DAY!); Scene iv: Mike quickly ID's the problem, has the blower motor in stock and makes the repair; Scene 5: COOL!! Management company relies on keen location to outshine many faults
Cons -Smoking policy allows tenants to smoke both in the unit and on their balustrade. Obvious fire hazards aside (specially in a high-rising), due to a number of smokers who stand on their balcony to avoid stinking up their unit, not-smokers are forced to keep their windows closed to forestall their unit from stinking similar smoke. And being in a very liberal city, it's not e'er cigarette smoke. -Complaints and simple requests are rarely taken care of after the first request. Depending on the nature of the request it may take three or 4 reminders for activeness to be taken. -The garage is supposed to be for residents only. Enforcement of this policy is nonexistent. The garage is especially total Friday-Sun, spots are extremely sparse and full-size pickup trucks and SUVs are forced to clasp into compact merely spots. Whether this is due to residents having guests or people looking for parking to visit the Rainey St. confined, it doesn't affair if you tin go through the relatively easy access gate. -Related to the previous topic another effect lies with security. In that location is direct admission to the building from the garage on the first nine floors. These doors should be locked at all times with access granted via a fundamental fob. The trouble is several of these doors take broken locking mechanisms and anyone can gain admission to the building without having a primal. You lot do need a key to access floors via elevator only the stairwell is not locked and an intruder technically has access to every floor of the building. -Only 2 elevators in a 32 story building (1 of which acts as the freight elevator) can lead to some excessive wait times when one lift is downward or the other is beingness used for a move. Pros -Location. The Rainey St bar scene is just a block abroad. Despite being only a cake away, the noise from the confined is nonexistent. Access to the hike and cycle trail around lady bird lake is literally just across the street. -Views. Views of downtown with Lady Bird lake in the foreground are A , in my stance one of the best views of the metropolis anywhere. The famous Congress St. bats often wing right past the building when they caput out for the night. -Price. Rent is very reasonable compared to other downtown loftier-rise apartments.

Windsor on the Lake
Corking layout for a downtown flat building. The edifice itself lacks civilities you would look for the toll. The BBQ has non worked properly in ii years and there are only two elevators, ane of which gets used oft for moving in and out. Other than that, the location is astonishing and the maintenance team does a great task whenever they are needed. It is also overnice to have the 1GB internet.
